Artpower meets Kluif
Kluif in Web Design Index
Studio Kluif is selected for the upcoming Web Design Index book. An international publication about the best worldwide web design. Packaging the Brand
Studio Kluif's work is wonderfully presented in Packaging the Brand! The book shows the relationship between packaging design and brand identity. The design selections are made by Gavin Ambrose and Paul Harris. Packaging the Brand is a detailed discussion of the most overtly commercial area of graphic design. Packaging represents the largest overlap between the disciplines of graphic design and branding. While many other areas of design may be commercial to an extent, the success of a piece of packaging is inextricably linked with its ability to sell a product. This book discusses the implications of this commercial function for a designer.
Kluif 2 nominations ADCN prize 2011
ADCN announced the list of nominees for the ADCN Awards 2011. During the Presentation of the ADCN Awards for Advertising and Design - Thursday, April 21 - the ultimate prizes will be announced. The ceremony takes place in Tuschinski Amsterdam. Studio Kluif is nominated two times. The HEMA packaging line for markers and crayons is nominated by the professionals jury and the ADCN members jury. For this Art & Fun packaging range Studio Kluif was not allowed to change the given die-cuts of the packaging. Instead of designing around the die-cuts, Kluif used their possibilities! Kluif made a series of illustrations: monsters, robots, fantasy animals etc. The products themselves get the main focus in the illustrations. The unique combination of illustration and product triggers your fantasy.
